There has been a big response to the publication of Arthur Askey's family tree in the Liverpool ECHO Origins series and in this blog.
It was fantastic to hear from John Hylton, a relative of Arthur's, who appears to have some of the comedian's theatrical genes in his blood - John is Europe's best-known Neil Diamond impersonator who is currently on a nationwide tour with his eight-piece band.
John has been researching his family history and is considering embarking on an exciting project in Liverpool to trace Arthur's roots.
